Quarterly Program Outreach Meeting (June 2025)
Program Background: Existing tunnel is over 150 Years old… Nearly as old as Druid Hill Park! The tunnel carries 9 million MARC & Amtrak passengers per year on the Northeast Corridor (NEC) (MARC’s Penn Line).
On June 2, 2025 (virtual), 6-7:30pm, and June 11, 2025 (In-person open house), 6-7:30pm at Mary Ann Winterling Elementary School, 220 North Bentalou Street, Baltimore, MD 21223, CSW is participating in the Amtrak Frederick Douglass Bi-Monthly program outreach meetings. Package B includes construction work located in the southern approach to the new tunnels, including the corridor from the West Baltimore MARC Station to the tunnel portals. Work also includes new structures to accommodate new track alignment and maintain grade separations to the street network and adjoining properties. In addition, the Package B will construct a new West Baltimore MARC station.
